Our Goals
- 50% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 carbon emissions at our breweries compared to 2015.
- 100% share of energy from renewable sources in the total electricity consumption of our breweries.
- Carbon neutrality at our breweries.
- 30% reduction in Scope 3 carbon emissions compared to 2020.
- Carbon neutrality across the entire value chain.
We take action for environmental protection
The undeniable climate changes we are experiencing affect the life of every individual.
Given that the main cause of these changes is the high emission of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, we feel obligated to reduce it in our breweries and achieve carbon neutrality. This is our most important commitment, driven by our responsibility to future generations.
We encourage CO2 emission reduction
We aim to motivate our suppliers and partners to reduce carbon dioxide emissions across the entire supply chain by 30%.
Carbon neutrality in breweries
We plan to achieve carbon neutrality in our breweries by 2030.
Carbon neutrality across the entire supply chain
Our ultimate goal is achieving carbon neutrality across the entire supply chain by 2040.
We plan to achieve carbon neutrality in our breweries by 2030.
Moreover, we aim to reduce carbon dioxide emissions across the entire supply chain by 30%. Our ultimate goal is carbon neutrality across the entire supply chain by 2040.
Learn moreTo achieve these goals, we are increasingly relying on green energy.
Since 2019, the electricity consumed by our breweries comes entirely from renewable sources. The next step in our energy transformation is focusing on reducing emissions related to the use of thermal energy. Thus in 2023, we began installing heat pumps in our breweries in Tychy and Poznań to recover heat generated during the beer brewing process. At the same time, we are working hard to reduce energy consumption in our breweries and warehouses.
Learn moreThe environmental impact of our products goes beyond their production in the breweries.
To understand the scale of this impact, we measure carbon dioxide emissions and track the life cycle of our products. Based on these activities, we actively collaborate with our suppliers and customers to reduce emissions, particularly in the areas of packaging, transportation and cooling of beers available for sale.
