Pilsner Urquell

Pilsner Urquell is an iconic Czech beer, the world's first golden pilsner. It was first brewed in 1842 at a newly built brewery in the Czech city of Pilsen by master brewer and visionary Josef Groll. Since then, it has been continuously enjoyed by beer drinkers around the world. To this day, it is still brewed using only three ingredients from the same Czech regions over the years: soft Pilsen water, pale barley malt and Žatec hops.

In perfect balance, it combines two natures: hoppy bitterness and barley sweetness, which is the result of the first-class quality of ingredients, long tradition and the passion and experience of Czech brewers.

 

The uniqueness of Pilsner is highlighted by the fact that it is served in 3 Czech ways,
each of which allows you to discover a different side of the beer:

 

  • Hladinka – classically served with a thick cap of foam will make it possible to o dcover the perfect composition of bitterness and sweetness.
  • Mlíko – composed entirely of creamy, creamy foam devoid of bitterness will allow you to discover the sweetness of Moravian barley.
  • Čochtan – heavily carbonated, poured without foam will provide refreshment and the characteristic bitterness of Žatec hops.

Pilsner Urquell from a tank is fresh and unpasteurized beer, brought to the premises directly from the Pilsen brewery. A specially developed beer delivery system – Tankovna – guarantees a short transport time at a strictly defined temperature. As a result, you savor beer as fresh as when it was brewed. Beer from the tank is characterized by the highest quality and excellent, perfectly composed taste.
