Two of Kompania Piwowarska’s brands with the Hit Handlu 2021 title
Lech Free 0.0% and Żubr were recognized by retailers and readers of the “Handel” monthly in the Hit Handlu 2021 competition. Organized continually for 20 years by the publisher of the magazine, the competition gives voice to retailers, defining Poles’ shopping preferences and FMCG market trends.
According to the votes collected within this edition of the Hit Handlu 2021competition, the Lech Free 0.0% bottled beer was considered the best-selling product in the non-alcoholic beer category, while Żubr was named the most popular alcoholic beer, most frequently chosen by consumers in 2021.
– We can add these distinctions to the collection of titles our brands have already received in this survey. We are extremely happy that this year consumers appreciated two of our brands – Lech Free 0.0% and Żubr. In the context of sales, these votes are the best reflection of the reality. We always pay close attention to and analyse consumer needs and preferences, and these titles prove that we are going in the right direction – commented Natalia Rostkowska, Internal Communications Manager at Kompania Piwowarska.
It is already the 20th edition of the competition in the 28-year history of the “Handel” magazine. The winners were named in a phone survey as the most frequently chosen brands and products. The two-phase study conducted by independent research companies, Brainlab and CMR, examined product sales in 66 categories. For the purpose of the survey, about 400 m transactions registered in small shops up to 300 m2 over the last 12 months were analysed.
The winners were announced on June 15, 2021.
