On track to switch to TY. Mann and Jimek on board the Tyskie train

Tyskie launches a new campaign under the slogan 'On track to switch to TY' (in Polish: ‘Kolej przejść na TY’), emphasizing the importance of close relationships and meetings. The new ambassadors are Wojciech Mann and Radzimir Dębski (JIMEK). Alongside the campaign, a contest is starting, offering a chance to win tickets for a ride on Tyskie’s winter train. Serving as a symbol of creating meaningful connections, this unique train will depart from Tychy, Poznań and Warsaw.

The Tyskie train is not merely a means of transportation. It is a manifestation of the brand’s philosophy, an icon that unites people and symbolises getting on a first name basis. A shared journey offers the chance to forge new connections. The campaign celebrates closeness and genuine relationships. It is perfectly timed for the winter season, when Poles travel far and wide across the country to visit loved ones and enjoy some time together. This is the essence of ‘switching to TY’, which simply means getting acquainted with the help of Tyskie – an experience that serves as the main prize in the contest accompanying the new campaign.

The winter edition of Tyskie’s campaign is promoted by a special duo: Wojciech Mann and Radzimir Dębski (JIMEK). Their presence in the ads reinforces the brand's message, encouraging the idea of building closer connections with Tyskie.

    - Wojciech Mann has been keeping Poles company for decades, connecting generations and various social groups by sharing his unique sense of humour and perspective. On the other hand, Jimek, as an artist of the younger generation, perfectly understands the need for authenticity and community in today's world. Now they join forces to demonstrate that there is always a good opportunity to switch to TY in the most natural and spontaneous way – comments Wojciech Szerszeń, Tyskie Brand Manager.

Warszawa, Poznań and Tychy – these three locations will see the departure of a unique vehicle that facilitates getting on a first-name basis between December 11 and 13. Participants in the accompanying contest can win a double invitation for a selected round trip from one of the starting stations and back. The winners will become passengers on a special journey aboard the Tyskie train, which brings people together in an informal, friendly atmosphere. Among the attractions awaiting passengers is a carriage with a unique interior inspired by nearly 400 years of history of Tyskie Browary Książęce, the cradle of the Tyskie brand.

To take part in the contest, simply purchase any variant of the Tyskie beer, register your proof of purchase at www.kolejprzejscnaty.pl, and answer the contest question. The contest is intended exclusively for adults. The ticket winner and their accompanying person must be at least 18 years old. The contest runs until December 8, 2024.

The campaign concept was developed by the Huta 19 im. Joachima Fersengelda agency and the Tyskie brand team. The commercials were directed by Tadeusz Śliwa, with photography by Zuza Krajewska. Production was handled by the Moon films team, post-production by Televisor, and sound engineering by Juice. Media planning was managed by the Zenith media agency. Contest coordination was delivered by Afekt, and the packaging design was created by BNA.
