Official opening of the first Kozlovna in Warsaw!
Poles enjoy good beer, especially in the city centre! On July 31, the vibrant heart of Warsaw will see the opening of another Kozlovna – the first one in the capital and third in Poland – where everyone can have a taste of Czechs’ favourite beer. Make sure to mark that day in your calendar, to experience a perfect summer evening in a typical Czech tavern.
Všude dobře, v Kozlovně nejlépe – that’s a saying popular among the Czechs, who appreciate the one-of-a-kind atmosphere of the original venues created under the Kozlovna name. Starting from July 31 at 6 pm, the residents of Warsaw will get a chance to check if they feel the same, since a new restaurant appears on the gastronomic map of their city. Located at 11 Piękna Street, Ceska Kozlovna is a unique venue of the Kozel brand, constituting an important element of the brewing tradition of our neighbours.
What is so special about the new restaurant? The thing that makes it original is, above all, its exceptional interior, which brings a Czech tavern called hospoda to mind. You do not need to go to Velke Popowice, where the Kozel brand (Kompania Piwowarska) comes from, to enjoy the tasty beverage in scenery typical for the Czech town. Ceska Kozlovna will allow its guests to get familiar with Czech beer rituals and have a taste of Kozel Černy with cinnamon and honey as well as the Řezané beer, which constitutes a surprising combination of light and dark lager. Every mug of Kozel will taste exactly the same as in the Czech Republic thanks to professional tapsters, meaning bartenders who ensure the highest quality of beer served at the Kozlovna outlets.
However, there are even more reasons to visit Ceska Kozlovna this Friday! On the day of the official opening, the guests can count of additional attractions, which will make the evening hosted by Czech dancer Jan Kliment even more interesting. Acclaimed beer expert Maciej Chłodrych will talk to the residents of Warsaw about the sensory qualities of beer and Czech beer culture, while the history of the Kozel brand and the significance of the Czech way of serving will be explored by Sławomir Fridel, tapster and brand ambassador. There will also be competitions testing the guests’ knowledge of Czech proverbs and serving skills. Obviously, the organizers will not forget about the traditional tap christening, which is basically pouring the Kozel beer on it.
On the launch day, a special promotion will be available – with every purchase of 4 mugs of the Czech lager, a free snack will be served. We invite everyone for this special evening, full of fun and Czech humour!
