Kompania Piwowarska with the Silver CSR Leaf by POLITYKA

Kompania Piwowarska has received the Silver CSR Leaf in the 11th edition of the best practices overview by the POLITYKA weekly. The leader of the brewing industry has been recognized for the solutions in the field of sustainable development and for conducting a transparent information policy in reference to those activities. The CSR Leaves by POLITYKA were awarded during the celebratory gala on May 31, 2022. 

This year, Kompania Piwowarska received the Silver CSR Leaf for its operational activity, which includes all the key norm ISO 26000 solutions, is based on the best local and international management practices, and follows international standards. Other crucial management elements are the ethics management system and the most important staff management standards.

Since the first edition of the overview, Kompania Piwowarska has received: five Silver CSR Leaves, five Golden CSR Leaves and one Super Golden CSR Leaf.
In order to take part in the ranking, companies had to fill in an online survey developed based on the guidelines of the ISO 26 000 norm. In this year’s edition, the judges evaluated the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) performance. Due to the current market conditions as well as the commitment of companies and organization to support Ukraine, the weekly magazine took these factors into account as well. Questions regarding the support for Ukraine and refugees constituted one of the two areas of execution of the Sustainable Development Goals. The second were the issues related to responsible consumption: 12th SGD, and climate: 13th SGD.

The 11th edition of the ranking saw submissions from 126 companies. The project was created in cooperation with the substantive partners: Deloitte consultancy agency and Responsible Business Forum.
