Barciś, Wini and the Lech crew in the final episode of “Black Volga. Cichy&Mały”

June 21 marked the premiere of the third part of the “Black Volga. Cichy&Mały” mini-series produced within the framework of the campaign promoting Lech Polish Hip-Hop Music Awards. This time, the two rebellious characters played by Artur Barciś and Wini got an unusual job to do. It is the final episode promoting the upcoming award gala.

In the last episode of the “Black Volga. Cichy&Mały” mini-series, besides Artur “Cichy” Barciś and popular rapper Wini “Mały” known from the previous parts, we will also see three “suits”. Szymon Skoczylas – Lech Brand Director, Łukasz Woźniak – Senior Brand Manager and Jacek Grabarczyk – Brand Manager, represent Kompania Piwowarska in the film, the title sponsor of the gala. The personal engagement of Lech managers proves that they relate to the #LPHHMA project and do not take themselves too seriously.

Marcin Siwek, the organizer of Polish Hip-Hop Festival and Lech Polish Hip-Hop Music Awards, appreciates the long-term cooperation between Lech and the Hip-Hop scene and emphasizes the importance of authenticity in case of commercial cooperation: Despite amazing achievements both in the charts and various sales rankings, Polish Hip-Hop has not had its own grand award gala that would match the popularity of the genre and allow to honour its Polish representatives. While creating Polish Hip-Hop Festival back in 2013, I saw how the industry was transitioning and maturing. Already then, it was noticeable that Rap in Poland had everything necessary to end up in the mainstream, following the same path Hip-Hop had covered in the US. That was when we came up with the idea to create an institution that would objectively and diligently evaluate Hip-Hop music and award the best artists. The joined forces of Polish Hip-Hop Festival and Lech allowed us to fully execute that plan. The brand is not only a title sponsor of the event, but also remains actively engaged in every stage of writing a new chapter in the history of Polish Hip-Hop, for which we are deeply grateful. Thanks to this cooperation and mutual engagement, we are building a project that will meet the expectations of artists, fans, and the entire music culture. We are convinced that this event will go down in the history.

The third episode culminates the project launched mid-May. So far, two parts of the mini-series had been released. In the first episode, we met two rebellious guys “Cichy” and “Mały”, who were combing the city of Wrocław in a stylish black Volga, looking for the owner of a mysterious black bag. The organizers of the gala managed to engage a group of Hip-Hop experts in the project who are co-creating the event and are some of the best in their environment. The first part of the mini-series featured Te-Tris – rapper, producer and Polish freestyle legend, while in the second one we saw Zuzanna “Bzy” Pszczółkowska – experienced and well-known tour and stage manager. The combination of expressive characters from different worlds and real stars provided the series with humour and entertainment that can spark the interest even beyond the Hip-Hop industry.

The first two episodes promoting Lech Polish Hip-Hop Music Awards – “Te-Tris” and “Pszczoła” – were very well-received by the market and have over half a million views on YouTube, while all the promo materials related to the event have recorded almost 1.5 million views in total.

The fans of the gala can expect further original activities proceeding the event scheduled to take place on August 19 at Hala Stulecia in Wrocław. Therefore, it is a good idea to subscribe to the channel, where all the episodes are available.
