    As part of the "We are on TY at the common table. 5 million meals for those in need" holiday campaign, Tyskie showcases the power of helping and consistently encourages people to nurture good relationships and be together. The joint project between the brand and the Federation of Polish Food Banks will result in delivering 5 million meals to those in need, prepared thanks to the financial support donated by Tyskie.

    For years, Tyskie has been consistently promoting a message of unity beyond divisions. It encourages close relationships, mutual assistance, and bridging distances because there is more that unites us than divides us. The campaign slogan, "We are on TY at the common table. 5 million meals for those in need," urges responsible behavior, promotes the idea of helping others, and raises awareness about food waste—especially during the holiday period.

    – Christmas is a special time for Food Banks. Besides providing free assistance, we aim to spread joy and ensure the opportunity to spend family holidays at a plentiful table for those under our care. That is why every expression of solidarity and social support is priceless for us and makes it easier to execute this mission says Beata Ciepła, President of the Federation of Polish Food Banks.

    The mission of Food Banks is to combat food waste and provide meals to those in need. The mechanism is simple – it involves distributing short-dated food products to the beneficiaries of the Federation. This way, Food Banks combine various avenues of sourcing food and efficiently channel it to the needy on a massive scale, simultaneously preventing its destruction.

    According to a study conducted by Kompania Piwowarska1 , 49% of Poles positively assess the involvement of brands and food producers in charitable actions for those in need, and 57% of respondents agree with the statement that communicating these aid efforts increases social awareness and can inspire others to help.

    According to Food Banks' report titled "Malnutrition and Hunger in Poland," approximately 1.4 million people a year receive assistance from the Federation. However, according to another report from the same organization titled "Don't Waste Food 2023 World Food Day," around 5 million tons of food go to waste in Poland each year.

    The ambassadors of the social campaign supporting the holiday initiative are: Joanna Koroniewska and Maciej Dowbor.

    – Our brand brings people together – now, together with Food Banks and the campaign ambassadors, we help those in need, especially in the holiday period. Sharing with others is the most important value we can convey as Tyskie – says Ewa Rychlik, Tyskie Brand Manager.
