Enter the game and fight for changes in your city! Voting for LECHSTARTER projects begins now!

The 3rd edition of the LECHSTARTER programme has already collected creative ideas to change Polish cities, offering PLN 1,000,000 for their execution! The jury evaluated all submissions and selected the best projects, which starting from April 6 will be subject to online voting. Now everything depends on local communities! They will choose unique initiatives that will receive 15 grants amounting to 50 and 100 thousand zloty from Lech!

 

LECHSTARTER is a programme has been introducing positive changes to Polish cities, allowing the residents to execute original revival ideas. Online voting will encompass different projects from across Poland. This year, the list of projects that advanced to the final includes initiatives from big cities, such Warsaw, Gdansk or Poznan, as well as smaller ones, like Elk or Lipno.

 

The decision whether a particular project will be executed or not will now be made by the residents themselves, and every person can cast 3 votes – one in each grant category. All they need to do is to register at www.lechstarter.pl or use the app on Lech’s Facebook fan page, go to one of the 3 categories: GRANTS, MICOGRANTS or GRANT ACADEMY, and choose the most interesting project. There’s no hurry, as the voting will last until May 17. Projects with the most votes in their category will be executed and ready for local communities still this year. Lech Premium will award 15 grants with the total value of PLN1,000,000: 5 GRANTS estimated to PLN100,000, 7 MICROGRANTS worth PLN50,000 each for organizations and 3 grants worth PLN50,000 in the GRANT ACADEMY category, dedicated to the socially engaged individuals willing to fight for changes in their neighbourhoods.

 

The final of the 3rd edition of LECHSTARTER encompasses 48 initiatives chosen by the jury composed of: Teresa Latuszewska-Syrda, Piotr „Vienio” Więcławski and Filip Springer, who said: It’s already the third edition of the programme and I’m very happy that the participants are still able to surprise us with extraordinary ideas. Selecting final projects wasn’t easy but I believe that the ideas subjected to Poles’ voting can truly have an impact on the communities they’re dedicated to.
