Tyskie Browary Książęce invites everyone to INDUSTRIADA 2026

10.06.2026

On June 13, 2026, Tyskie Browary Książęce will once again join the celebrations of Industriada – the annual festival of the Silesian Industrial Monuments Route and the largest one-day post-industrial heritage festival in Central and Eastern Europe.

As one of the oldest operating breweries in Poland, Tyskie Browary Książęce is a landmark on the map of Silesian industrial heritage. Beer has been brewed here continuously since 1629, and the historic brewery complex still seamlessly blends history, industrial architecture, and modern production. This makes the brewery’s participation in Industriada a natural opportunity to showcase the site – not just as a place with over 400 years of tradition, but above all, as a space shaped by people, both past and present brewers.

“Faces of the Brewery” – The People Who Brew history

This year’s program at Tyskie Browary Książęce will run under the slogan “Faces of the Brewery – The People Who Brew History.” It aligns with the overarching theme of Industriada 2026 – “Faces of Industry” – and highlights the brewery not just as a production site, also as a historic industrial community built by people: owners, craftsmen, employees, families who lived alongside the brewery, and today’s custodians of the brewing tradition.

Event highlights

At the heart of the program is a special Industriada edition of the Tyskie Browary Książęce tour. The route will be extended to include sections and spaces usually closed to the public. Visitors will dive deeper into the brewery’s history, discover its hidden corners, and meet characters from the past life of this brewing town.

Another key feature will be workshops hosted by the brewery’s own staff. Visitors will get a look into modern brewing, learn about the fundamentals of the brewing process, discover the ingredients used to make beer, and hear fascinating stories from everyday life at the brewery. The sessions will bridge the gap between the site’s history and its current operations.

Guests will also be able to enjoy a range of accompanying attractions, including an exhibition of archival photographs, the multimedia installation “Faces of the Brewery,” live portrait and caricature artists in the “Faces of INDUSTRIADA” zone, as well as a food truck area, a beer garden, and a courtyard chillout zone.

The day will culminate in a live beer-brewing demonstration hosted by a certified beer judge. Visitors will be able to follow the production process on a smaller scale – from raw ingredients, through each stage of brewing, to the finished product.

Most attractions will be available free of charge. Brewery and museum tours will be offered at special promotional rates for INDUSTRIADA visitors: PLN 35 for the brewery tour and PLN 10 for the museum tour.
