Kompania Piwowarska has received a special recognition in the 20th ESG Ranking. Responsible Management, one of Poland’s longest-running assessments of responsible and sustainable management maturity among the country’s largest companies. To mark the ranking’s 20th edition, recognition was given to companies that have participated in every edition since its launch. Kompania Piwowarska was one of only five companies to receive this honour.
This anniversary award holds particular significance for Kompania Piwowarska as it reflects not a single achievement, but a consistent, long-term commitment to responsible management. Over the past two decades, the ranking – initially known as the Good Company Ranking and later as the Responsible Companies Ranking – has tracked how businesses turn strategic commitments into practical solutions, processes and activities.
– This 20th-anniversary recognition is deeply meaningful to us because it reflects two decades of consistent effort, not just a single result. For years, we have systematically advanced our approach, turning our sustainability ambitions into concrete plans, partnerships and initiatives. At Kompania Piwowarska, ESG goals are an integral part of our business strategy – and this consistency delivers measurable results over time – says Małgorzata Walędzińska-Półtorak, Sustainable Development Program Manager.
Moreover, this year’s edition brought a strong result for the company in the sector rankings. Kompania Piwowarska placed fourth in the “Consumer Goods” category, narrowly missing the podium, and ranked 16th overall. Notably, it was the only brewing company included in this year’s ranking. This achievement further confirms that the company’s ongoing efforts to advance responsible business practices and implement ESG solutions are validated by independent experts.
Five Kompania Piwowarska Initiatives Featured in the Responsible Business Forum Report
The ESG Ideas Fair also saw the launch of the Responsible Business Forum’s report, “Responsible Business in Poland: Good Practices 2025” – the country’s most comprehensive review of ESG and sustainability initiatives. This year’s publication features 932 practices implemented by 263 companies, including five initiatives from Kompania Piwowarska: the FAS/OFF social campaign “Creating a Fashion for Sober Pregnancy”, “Golden Principles of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Kompania Piwowarska”, the #ICare project: Conversations About Safety and Health, support for the Kobiety w Centrum Association initiative, and cross-company activities fostering collaboration and DEI practice exchange.
The inclusion of these initiatives in the Responsible Business Forum report highlights that responsible management at Kompania Piwowarska goes beyond strategy and declarations, translating into concrete social, employee-focused and educational activities. Together with the 20th Anniversary ESG Ranking distinction, it provides strong confirmation that a consistent approach to responsible business creates lasting value and delivers long-term impact.
