Żubr’s Birthday – the brand invites the residents of the Podlasie region 
to join the celebrations!

The source of Żubr emerges in Podlasie and that’s exactly where Żubr will celebrate its birthday. On September 23, the King of the Forest invites everyone to the b-day table in the city of Bialystok. The guests can count on great fun and unforgettable experiences – as it is no secret that “the only thing you need for a great ball is Żubr”. 

Żubr’s Birthday is the first event of that type organised by the brand in the region of Podlasie. That way Żubr wants to honour the brewing tradition of its bastion, the Dojlidy Brewery, which celebrates its 250th anniversary this year!

The brand has prepared numerous attractions for the residents of the region. The event will kick off with a celebratory tapping of a barrel full of freshly brewed Żubr. The beer will be served at a long b-day table that can accommodate even 250 people. The guests will also get a chance to try local delicacies and learn to prepare traditional dishes under the watchful eye of Jerzy Nogal, who will run culinary workshops.

Drawing from an over 200-year-old brewing tradition, the brand will bring the residents closer to it with the use of a multimedia wall presenting the history of the Dojlidy Brewery and creation of Żubr, while the real life resident of the Białowieża Forest will be presented in all his glory on photos by Krzysztof Onikijuk, artist, photographer and naturalist.

Żubr will invite the residents of Podlasie not only to take a seat at the table but also to step on the dance floor. Background music will be provided by Bum Bum Orkestar, while in the evening the stage will be taken over by two popular bands: Tulia and Łąki Łan. Instead of traditional “Happy Birthday”, the guests will sing an anthem composed especially for this occasion by maestro Jerzy Maksymiuk.
