Three breweries owned by Kompania Piwowarska: Tyskie Browary Książęce in Tychy, Lech Browary Wielkopolski in Poznań and the Dojlidy Brewery in Białystok, have opened their doors to beer enthusiasts. The free brewery tours allow the visitors to learn about all stages of the brewing process – from the ingredients, through brewing, fermentation and filtration, to bottling. Every one of the tours concludes with a chance to taste beer that comes straight from the brewery.
– We are proud of our breweries: their tradition, the experience of our brewers, cutting-edge technologies, and, above all, of how they join forces, allowing us to meet the needs of beer lovers in Poland. Kompania Piwowarska’s breweries have significant influence on the regions they operate in. Not only do we provide work for their residents, but we have also been consistently investing in local communities through social programmes, corporate volunteering or sponsorship of cultural and sports events – comments Iwona Jacaszek-Pruś, Corporate Affairs Manager at Kompania Piwowarska. – We came to the conclusion that presenting the fascinating world of beer at its source will be a tribute to our neighbours – the residents of the cities and regions we operate in – she adds.
Tyskie Browary Książęce opens its gates to visitors on July 6. During the free tours, the participants will see the brewing process, visit the brewery’s museum, take part in the Książęce Tasting Academy and have a taste of freshly brewed Tyskie. Everyone can sign up for a tour via the form available at https://tyskiebrowaryksiazece.kp.pl.
Lech Browary Wielkopolski scheduled its Open Day for June 29. It is a unique chance to see the birthplace of one of the symbols of the city of Poznań and the Wielkopolska region – Lech Pils, which is usually inaccessible for visitors. After the tour, the participants will get a chance to taste Lech Pils straight from the brewery, take part in beer sensory workshops and a special contest. Interested people can sign up via the form available at https://browarlech.kp.pl.
The Dojlidy Brewery in Białystok welcomed visitors on June 15. It was a real treat for the fans of Żubr. The roles of guides were entrusted only to the employees of the brewery, while the participants were able to continue exploring the world of beer by celebrating Żubr’s Birthday taking place on the very same day.
Kompania Piwowarska has been taking care of the surrounding environment and people for years, supporting local sports teams, engaging in cultural events in the regions it operates in and executing charity initiatives for the “Cicha Nadzieja (Silent Hope)” Foundation, Palium Hospice in Poznań, Białowieża National Park, City Shelter in Tychy and many others. The employees of the breweries are eager to share their time, skills and engagement with those in need. Moreover, Kompania Piwowarska’s breweries hire whole generations of brewers. The company organizes internships and open days intended for women considering a career in the brewing industry.
Kompania Piwowarska’s brewery tours taking place as part of the Open Days are free of charge, but the number of spots is limited – 200 places in each brewery. The tours are intended for adults only.
