Our achievements

Environment

One of Asahi Group's most important long-term commitments is to achieve carbon neutrality throughout the value chain.

  • Emission reduction

     

    We reduced Scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions by 21% and reduced Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions per hectoliter of beer by 69%.

  • Renewable energy

     

    In 2024, about 37% of the energy required to produce our beer came from renewable sources. In 2023, we used 4.2% less energy than the year before.

  • Best practice

     

    We use only 2.84 liters of water to brew one liter of our beer.

  • Recycling

     

    We sold 40% of our products in reusable packaging.

  • Bison for the environment

     

    In 2024, the Fund of our beer brand “Zubr” bought 30 hectares of land in the Biebrza River Protected Area.

At Kompania Piwowarska, we know that responsible business is not only about the high quality of our products, but also about the relationships we build with the environment.

Volunteering and charity work

  • 1387 volunteers of Kompania Piwowarska devoted a total of 6019 hours to social activities in 2024.
  • Kompania Piwowarska has supported the FASOFF social campaign for the sixth time. “By drinking alcohol while pregnant, you wish your child to be sick” is the seemingly controversial slogan of our 2024 campaign.
  • The “Party in Moderation” campaign. Our campaign reached more than 7 million people, and 3.3 million of them engaged online.
  • 35.8% market share in 0% beers. We support responsible alcohol choices. In 2024, we sold the most non-alcoholic beers in Poland.
