Kozel is a beer with a unique taste and history. The famous billy goat logo was created by a French painter and the image has been a trademark of Czech’s favourite beer until today. The Kozel brand also encompasses a long-standing tradition of beer rituals and celebration of gatherings. Kozel invites everyone who appreciates Czech culture and would like to spend some time in the best company to the summer zone. It will be launched on August 11 on the Karski Boulevard in Warsaw.
The enthusiasts of the Kozel brand who will visit the zone that day will be welcomed by Jan Kliment – famous dancer of Czech origin. During the event he will host a quiz that will allow the participants to test their knowledge of the Czech language and learn about the history of Kozel from the town of Velké Popovice. Additionally, the zone will have a statue of the brand icon – a goat that has its live counterpart in the form of a friendly goat named Olda living within the area of the Brewery. There will also be a GIFbooth allowing to take pictures that when put together create a moving image.
Kozel is brewed according to an original Czech recipe of the Velké Popovice Brewery. Every fan of typically Czech flavours will be able to buy two variants of the beer in the zone. One of them is Kozel Ležák (4.6% ABV), traditional Czech lager with full taste resulting from combining three types of malt and hoppy bitterness. Its trademark is a harmonious composition of the right amount of extract, aroma and saturation. The fans of dark beers can enjoy Kozel Černý (3.8% ABV), which is surprisingly delicate and drinkable. It is a traditional dark Czech beer brewed with the use of a special mix of dark malts, giving it a unique ruby colour and delicately sweet flavour with caramel notes.
The Kozel Zone will be open every weekend from August 11 until September 30 this year between 9 am and 11 pm.
