Kompania Piwowarska among Poland’s Top Employers

20.11.2017

Kompania Piwowarska was the only company form the food industry to receive the 2017 Top Employer Poland title at the competition organized by the PTWP Group, publisher of the PulsHR.pl portal. It was awarded in acknowledgement of its innovativeness, contribution to the labour market and activity in the field of corporate social responsibility.

For the first time ever, this year’s edition of the competition considered companies from across Poland – previously, it only awarded employers from the region of Silesia. The goal of this initiative is to determine true leaders among Polish employers, who contribute to the economic development of a particular region and set new HR management trends. The chapter of the competition, composed of industry, education and HR experts, evaluated the influence of particular companies on the local labour market, company reviews, CSR, innovations in HR management and recruitment. The statuettes and diplomas were handed over to the winners during a celebratory gala following a day-long conference and the PulsHR_Day 2017 fair, taking place on November 15 in the International Conference Centre in Katowice.

– On behalf of the employees of Kompania Piwowarska, I’d like to thank the members of the chapter as well as all those who voted for us and thus contributed to our success. I’m glad we could receive the award here on Silesian soil, where one of KP’s pillars – Tyskie Browary Książęce – constitutes an integral part of local tradition and supports the development of the labour market and entrepreneurship in Silesia – commented Izabela Marchlewicz, Talent Management Director at Kompania Piwowarska– This distinction is a great response to the business and non-business activity we as a company execute and promote– she added.

The list of nominees for the Top Employer in Poland title included 20 companies from various sectors. Besides KP, the judges also awarded Capgemini Polska, Siemens, Budimex, Volvo Polska, CD Projekt, 3M Poland, Grupę Nowy Styl, PwC Polska and Asseco Poland. The competition for the Top Employer in Silesia saw submissions form 10 companies and the ultimate top five included Rockwell Automation, Unilever, Timken, Guardian Częstochowa and FH Rolnik. Additionally, the readers of PulsHR.pl awarded their own distinctions to Orbis Hotel Group and Weindlich.
