Discover the mysteries of a 250-year old Brewery

On 15 June, Dojlidy Brewery, which celebrated last year its 250th anniversary, will open its gates to visitors. This presents a unique opportunity to be among 200 lucky ones who will see from the inside the birthplace of Poland’s favorite beer, Żubr, normally closed to the general public. Those thirsty for an extra experience can go straight from the brewhouse to the celebrations of Żubr’s Birthday, which will be organized on that same day on the square in front of Teatr Dramatyczny.

Dojlidy Brewery, owned by Kompania Piwowarska, for two-and-a-half centuries has formed an integral part of the history of Białystok and Podlasie. In response to the needs of the region’s inhabitants, the Brewery opens its gates to guests during the Open Day. Visitors will be able to peek into normally inaccessible brewery interiors as well as see with their own eyes the entire beer making process, from the creation of beer wort to packaging. Visitors will be guided through all the beer stories by the employees of the Dojlidy Brewery themselves!

– For years we have been actively participating in the life of our region, supporting local cultural and sports initiatives. For this reason, we decided to open ourselves to guests from Podlasie so that they can see with their own eyes how the beer they like is made. – says Jacek Winiarski, Dojlidy Brewery Director. – This opportunity is all the more attractive because the role of guides will be played by brewery employees themselves, who will be able to share their true passion with the visitors. Who, if not them, is better suited to tell the story of this place, and present with full commitment the process of brewing Poles’ favorite beer? – he adds.

The Brewery tour will take place in groups of 20 people. You can enroll to the tour using a form available at https://browardojlidy.kp.pl/. The number of places is limited – this unique opportunity is offered to 200 lucky ones. Tours will be organized every 30 minutes. The first starts at 9 a.m. and the last at 1:30 p.m. Visitors can use the car park at the brewery free of charge (access from ul. J. Kuronia).”

Everyone who, after a visit to the Dojlidy Brewery, feels like having a drink of this golden beverage, is cordially invited to Żubr’s Birthday brimming with attractions, which will last from 12:00 noon at the Square in front of the Teatr Dramatyczny in Białystok. Guests can use a shuttle bus that will take them to the venue free of charge.
