More than one hundred performers from Poland and abroad, thousands of electro fans, and unforgettable atmosphere – that is the flagship mix consistently delivered by the greatest celebration of electronic music called Audioriver. The previous edition gathered a record number of participants. For that reason, aside from people, music and accompanying exploration and experiences, the festival aims to educate on how to take care of safety and the environment with the use of special activities organized by the event partners.
Kompania Piwowarska got involved into this musical undertaking for the third time, this year with as many as two zones. The festival regulars will be happy to see the well-known and appreciated Check Your BAL zone. Besides that, the upcoming edition will see a novelty – our ECO zone.
– Music, alcohol, beach and dance, that is a combination that gives everyone a sense of freedom and limitlessness. As a company brewing Poles’ favourite beverage – beer, we are aware of the fact that only conscious and responsible consumption of alcohol guarantees great fun. We bring our zones to places like Audioriver in order to educate tens of thousands of fans of music and good atmosphere in terms of responsible alcohol consumption and protecting our planet – says Małgorzata Walędzińska-Półtorak, Sustainable Development Programme Manager at Kompania Piwowarska.
Just as in previous years, the participants of Audioriver visiting the Check Your BAL zone will be able to test their blood alcohol content with the use of a professional breathalyser, overcome an obstacle course or a maze while wearing our alcogoggles. This edition of the festival will also provide a total novelty, an ECO zone where everyone will be able to contribute to protecting our ecosystem. Active participation in the activities will be rewarded by Kompania Piwowarska.
The ECO zone was designed specially for the Audioriver festival. Kompania Piwowarska will be encouraging festivalgoers to maintain cleanliness, providing prizes for the most active participants. The goal is to collect as many cans and possible and bring them to the ECO zone. Two people with the biggest amount of aluminium gathered over the two festival days will receive electric scooters – the first winner will be announced on the first concert day, and the second one a day later. The following 30 people (15 each day) will get power banks. Additionally, every person bringing empty cans, plastic or mixed waste will be rewarded for their effort with an apple. The ECO zone will be located by the main entrance, while the Check Your BAL zone will be placed by the campsite gate.
– This year, we launch our new ECO zone. That way, we want to prove that partying does not exclude thinking about others – in this case about our planet. The previous edition of the festival attracted impressive crowds to our Check Your BAL zone, which reflects great demand and growing awareness among Poles in terms of responsible alcohol consumption. We are hoping that our ECO zone will become equally popular among festivalgoers – adds Małgorzata Walędzińska-Półtorak.
Audioriver encompasses six stages featuring performances by Polish and international artists. The festival has been taking place on the city beach in Płock for 14 straight years, always making the city buzz with life and music. The previous edition of Audioriver gathered almost 30 thousand people.
