1,105 packages for 65 families – Kompania Piwowarska once again provided record-breaking support to the Noble Box

27.12.2017

Engaging thousands of company employees into an aid campaign so they can open their hearts, sacrifice their time and quite often donate their own money – that’s the power of the Noble Box. This year, Kompania Piwowarska once again took part in the project and broke its last year’s record in terms of both the number of leaders and financial support.

The joy of giving; awareness of smart helping; sharing smiles, engagement and passion – all these things encourage volunteers form across the country to get engaged in the WIOSNA Association’s project. This year marked its 17th edition and Kompania Piwowarska took part in it for the second time.

Second time and once again with a record-breaking result: the campaign has attracted 65 leaders from KP, which is more than last year and translates into a higher number of families that received help and packages with the essentials. Over 1,600 volunteers managed to collect and prepare 1,105 packages with the total value of PLN 230,000. Traditionally, the group included KP’s employees – and members of the management board – as well as their families, friends and business partners. What proves best how impressive their involvement in the Noble Box was is the fact that together they have sacrificed nearly 2,200 hours, and almost half of the above-mentioned sum constitutes their own financial contribution.

– This year, we managed to successfully encourage our co-workers from KP to show how big-hearted they are and support the Noble Box both financially and materially, and, of course, to share their time. We’ve also received help form external companies – says Justyna Stankiewicz from Poznań, one of the leaders. – I’m very happy, because the additional contribution exceeded our wildest expectations, therefore we were able to provide the families with bigger help.

This edition of the Noble Box at KP resulted in greater engagement as well as improved competence of our volunteers. Thanks to last year’s experiences, all the activities – collecting teams, selecting families in need, gathering donations and packing – went much more smoothly and efficiently. What also contributed significantly to successful execution of the project was the support of the Tyskie brand.

– This year’s edition provided unforgettable experiences. Helping others is wonderful. I strongly believe that helping pays off and teamwork teaches us new skills – sums up Katarzyna Radecka, Sustainable Development Specialist at Kompania Piwowarska.
